As October has come to an end, so has the 2018 soccer season. Both girls and boys varsity teams showed great improvement throughout the year, and demonstrated Green Mountain's sportsmanship.

The girls varsity team ended the year with a 14-1 record. Led by Coach Hamilton and team captains Paige Karl and Rachel Guerra, they proved to be a strong and closely bonded group. During playoffs, they made it to the second round, defeating Enosberg and losing to Vergennes.

The boys varsity team, led by Coach Wilhelm and team captains Brooks Ordway-Smith, Carver Provance, and Chase Ordway-Smith, ended the year with an 8-5-1 record, showing vast improvement from last year's 2-10-2 record. They also made it to the second round of playoffs, defeating Hazen and losing to Twin Valley. Seniors Brooks and Carver made 1st team MVL, and were selected for All States.
